Mission
Be responsible for site industrial projects by organizing and controlling project elements that support the engineering strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; and assign personnel to phases and elements and reviewing bids from contractors
Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and understanding internal and external customer requirements as well as completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems and issues
Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications and plan and schedule changes and recommending actions
Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions
Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations
Profile/Competencies
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree- Engineering or equivalent (preferably a Mechanical Engineer) .
Professional engineer with minimum 8 years’ experience in engineering, construction and project management in fields similar to Imerys’ (heavy process industry, ideally continuous operations, handling and physical treatment of minerals)
Expertise and experience in industrial project Management (> 300 K€ to >3M€)
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of contract law and procedures, the forms of engineering contract and procurement strategies.
Field production experience valuable
Continuous Improvement mindset
Open minded, experience in multicultural environments
Languages:
Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Turkish and English
