We are looking for “Project Controls Manager” for our global customer who is active in energy industry across the world and has an office in Turkey.


JOB DESCRIPTION


Manage Client and Stakeholders, in favor of the company’s interest for the common goal of successfully completing the project within agreed time, cost and quality

Meet all Planning and Project Controls requirement that the project is seeking

Ensure alignment with the Project execution plan with all the parties in agreement

Subcontractor management

Proactively manage the schedule; review and use late reports and look ahead reports to achieve same; progress the schedule on an ongoing basis and analyze impact.

Support the company’s OPF Project Execution Team in bringing the visibility of look ahead, project delays and concerns

Provide contribution for the company’s Project Controls process improvement


Sales /Tender phase :

Liaise with the Tendering team for the planning activities in case of any tender in future

Review Long lead critical items and highlight those.


Execution phase :

Be the right hand man for the Project Manage;

Must have a thorough understanding of the project contract requirements

Keep the Global Panning and Project Controls Lead informed of the project status and concerns

Ensure that a robust change management system is in place

Ensure that the overall integrated Level 3 schedule is with the appropriate links

Liaise with the construction manager to ensure that the Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning schedules are done in enough detail (Level 3) and that Required On Site (ROS) dates for engineering deliverables, materials and subcontract services are clearly established.

Liaise with the engineering manager to maintain the engineering deliverables register (Level 4)

Liaise with the procurement manager to maintain the procurement and subcontract plan (Level 4)

Liaise with critical vendors and subcontractors through the procurement manager

Ensure that resource planning is done adequately

Ensure that the costs from “as-sold” bid cost summary are broken down into the WBS/CBS level

Ensure that the budgets are controlled before the cost commitments are made, and the commitments are tracked with the effective forecasting

Ensure that the cash flow projections are done accurately and on a timely basis.

Subcontractor management not limited to timely collection of Planning and Project Controls inputs in line with the Project requirements, make sure subcontractors follows all planning, scheduling and reporting requirements and assist subcontractors if required, Set up, implement, and maintain project schedule related key performance indicators (KPIs)

Facilitate functions to define process and procedures inline with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, Q2 and OSHA.


QUALIFICATIONS


Experience :

15 + years experiences working roles within an EPC environment

Risk analysis/assessment/mitigation.

Experienced managing projects from FEED through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and handover

Project management exposure


Expertise :

Baselining and S-curve reporting.

Aware of all Planning and Scheduling tools that includes Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office including words, excel and presentation, ICAPS etc.
