GENEL NİTELİKLER

One of the leading companies in construction sector is looking for an Claim and Contract Manager who will work our project in Africa.

General Qualifications ;

· Graduated from preferably in construction management, engineering or a closely related field

· 15 years of professional experience, minimum of 5 years in similar position, preferably in large scale infrastructure projects

· Ability to work under pressure

· Good Communication skills

· Leadership skills

· Analytical thinking, successful in teamwork,

· Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

· Strong MS Office skills.

Job Description ;

· Drafting and monitoring all the contracts (pre and post award phases) for the current and future projects of the company

· Examining all contract proposals of each project , determining of the contractual risks and reporting accordingly;

· Supervise the fulfillment of the rights and obligations in the agreement;

· Managing, evaluating warranty period demands and negotiating of a new claims;

· Controlling the taking necessary actions about the claims, which can be met with the contracts.

· Regular reports on progress / delays / critical areas to Top Management of the company.

· Managing the team of Claims Handlers

· Managing and reporting on the unit’s performance

· Ensuring compliance to contracted service levels and optimization of processes

· Ensuring adherence to policies, legislative requirements

· Managing of external and internal relationships

· Monitoring process compliance

· Continually reviewing and measuring team activities against targets, standards and service levels.

· Managing, supporting and developing a team of people to ensure service delivery E

· Establishing and maintaining quality standards in respect of accurate claims management

· Proactive risk/claim assessment and management for site construction contracts.

· Providing proactively recommendations & advice on how to avoid any additional cost and where not possible how to minimize the costs of legitimate claims.

· Ensuring the successful execution of site construction contracts according to agreed commercial obligations, financial and qualitative targets.

· Ensuring all site costs are recorded in detail to provide transparent feedback in order improve the tender and budget preparation of future contracts

· Ensuring the correct Site Purchasing process and tools are in place and followed

· Initiate and manage claims against 3rd parties related to the site construction contracts.
