Experienced in the Energy Sector

EMTA Energy provides integrated designing, engineering, procurement, construction supply and management services. These services extend to independent and national transmissionlines and substations as well as those associated with new power generation, Oil&Gas, Industrial facilities such as Textile, Cement, Pulp & Paper and many others. We have designed and commissioned more than 50 substations and 1000 kilometers of transmission lines.


Contract/Claim Manager – EPC Energy (Renewable, Thermal, TL, SS)

Responsibilities will include:

Review RFP's to determine applicable contract requirements and plan procedures to support the bid;

Negotiate subcontracts, including ensuring agreements are in place to protect intellectual property;

Review documentation for completeness, as appropriate:

Review and provide input into pricing parameters, proposal preparation and presentation;
Ensure contracts are in compliance with our business requirements;
Ensure and support communications between internal customers and business partners.

To excel in this role, you must:

Graduate level degree preferred, required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law or in a related field.

Ten (10) years of related experience in subcontracts and/or contracts negotiation/administration/management.

Demonstrated ability to manage, direct, train, and motivate a group of contract professionals.
Willing to travel as required.

Advanced knowledge of contractual practices, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge of legal requirements and the ability to draft responses to contract inquiries or issues.
Experience with claims management and dispute resolution.
Understanding of contract pricing, terms, and conditions.
Excellent Communication Skills (Turkish & English)—Both written and oral.
Work in a stimulating multi-disciplined environment;

Ability to travel (30-50%) on frequent basis both domestically, with occasional international travel both by automobile or air, often with short notice to achieve required customer interactions is essential to this role.
