EMTA Energy provides integrated designing, engineering, procurement, construction supply and management services. These services extend to independent and national transmissionlines and substations as well as those associated with new power generation, Oil&Gas, Industrial facilities such as Textile, Cement, Pulp & Paper and many others. We have designed and commissioned more than 50 substations and 1000 kilometers of transmission lines.


Business Development Manager – Energy (Renewable, Thermal, Substation andTransmission Line)

As the Business Development Manager, you will support the Head of International Development in identifying, screening, selecting and developing overseas EPC project opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Identification and Evaluation

  • Ensures constant networking in order to identify opportunities from all sources - this may include public offerings, information from news media and trade publications, leads from consultants and advisors, relationships with other power industry participants, etc.
  • Research and analysis of EPC project opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans.
  • Direct the planning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business deals.
  • Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets.
  • Direct and coach lower level professionals. Work with Major Project Center to ensure quotations done on time as well as with local branches.
  • Maintain contact with the key decision makers internally and externally. Must be able to communicate information on a timely basis.
  • Prepare regular activity reports for leadership.


EXPERIENCE

Professional:

  • At least 20 years' experience with demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the markets and general dynamics of the power sector; with evidence of commercial awareness and understanding of the financing of power markets.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year related course Master's degree, preferred

Languages

  • Perfect English, Turkish and other languages will be advantage

Ability to travel (50-70%) on frequent basis both domestically, with occasional international travel both by automobile or air, often with short notice to achieve required customer interactions is essential to this role.
