QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified Project Manager within the development of its activities in Istanbul Office to fill the following position in daily operations in;
Essential Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related engineering departments,
- Minimum 3 years of Project Management and Contract Management experience,
- Self-driven and process-oriented working style, with sufficient flexibility to cover the unforeseen,
- Ability to deal and work with other cultures and technical areas hand in hand and to find solutions,
- Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home,
- Systematic problem-solving behaviour,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Turkish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of projects and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality
- Ensure stringent application of state-of-the-art Health, Safety and Environment policies on all sites where Nordex is working, avoiding any harm to people of the environment and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements wherever Nordex is working
- Oversee contractual management of all projects and proper financial follow-up
- Optimize projects outcomes through rigorous contract management, claim management, and risks & opportunities management and create necessary transparency with regards to potential optimizations and risks in cooperation with Commercial Project Management
- Represent the Nordex organization to the clients, create a good and constructive relationship, and deliver customer satisfaction
- Provide strong control of key suppliers, including erection and transportation companies
- Perform monthly progress reporting of all projects by the consolidation of all PM KPI’s according to the Nordex reporting rules
- Make sure that all Nordex processes are duly implemented, applied and managed.
