Engineering Manager İş İlanı

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for an "Engineering Manager'' for our client operating in industrial construction, which is located in İstanbul.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,

· Min. 10 years of experience in refinery, oil and gas, power plant projects,

· Fluency in English,

· Knowledge about EPC projects,

· Having good planning and organizational skills,

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinating, expediting, following up the process according to project

schedule and requirements for all engineering issue from engineering subcontractors,

· Ensuring consistency of design and seamless execution of project overall scope,

· Implementing value engineering; propose of alternative calculation by checking Owner’s project specifications or similar project by referring good engineering practice,

· Checking the engineering subcontractor’s and assigned vendor’s counterpart discipline activity progress and raise-up in any critical issue,

· Checking and reviewing of design output documents prepared by Engineering Subcontractors,

· Procuring direct communication with Engineering Subcontractors and site technical team and assigned vendors for technical issues,

· Technical reviewing of packages from vendors and material suppliers together with technical team,

· Keeping Project Manager informed of all critical areas and recommended corrective actions,

· Re-arranging of engineering activities parallel of site requirements in case it is necessary,

· Monitoring comment/ approval cycle of engineering subcontractor’s and vendor’s engineering documentation in coordination with Document Control Center (DCC) according to agreed durations and inform Project Manager for any delay,

· Ensuring timely submission of engineering documents to Owner, evaluate Owner’s comments and requests technically in accordance with technical specifications.
