QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

INSIDE SALES COORDINATOR


Job Purpose

Complementing and supporting Outside Sales activities, follow-up and coordinate (also via Outside Sales) with customers to ensure that business leads are successfully converted into actual shipments.

Provision of RFQ´s and RFQ Follow - up, proactively seeking customer support, rate logging and query resolution. Deliver Sales budgets / targets and Account Development Plan (as agreed with the Manager). Ensure that all processes and transactions are fully compliant with company rules and regulations.

Key Tasks

Quotation & Customer Relations

Make quotations to customers (by phone/email), new and existing, within a designated sales area to negotiate prices, securing best cargo mix to meet the various volume and net contribution targets set as per Sales plan / budget / ADP. Maintain personal relationship by phone and sporadic visit to customers together with Outside Sales.

Proactively follow up on RFQ and arrange Outside Sales customer visits (if applicable). Providing customer information whenever required by Outside Sales for a customer visit.

Communication

Liaise with Operations, Customer Service and other departments to overcome operational issues.

Administration

Receive info/data from Outside and Inside Sales staff and arrange accurate filing into the respective ONE system. Produce all rate sheets within target timescales. Update rate sheets at time of GRIs, end of validities, etc.

Transfer information to Offshored business units for filing input and any other update of systems and spreadsheets as required.
