Job Description

We are looking for a new teammate to grow with us and support us in product management and business development initiatives of the leading digital insurance brokerage platform and financial product and services broker/aggregator in Turkey.


The successful candidate will receive significant exposure to senior resources in a flat organization and to multiple aspects of new generation web and mobile businesses. The analyst role typically drives key business decisions within the organization, and successful performance in this role will result with a fast growth track.


The responsibilities of this position include collecting, analyzing and processing stakeholder requirements and preparing specifications documents for the development team. Business analyst will report to the product owner while collaborating with product people and software engineers to build great digital insurance products.


Required education & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or business/management
  • 1-3 years of experience as a business analyst or a product analyst, preferably in insurance
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in a technology product or Scrum is a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Help product owner maintain product backlog, improve product performance, drive team towards priorities, and maximize business value
  • Facilitate gathering and clarification of cross-functional requirements with multiple business and technology stakeholders to identify and validate key business requirements
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and development team members to ensure that requirements are understood and met
  • Drive web service integration/maintenance efforts between internal stakeholders and third-party insurance companies
  • Uncover business/process problems, work with product owner to analyze and define potential impact of a resolution
  • Collaborate with quality assurance team in writing feature acceptance criteria and test scenarios
  • Collaborate in analyzing live site issues and create user stories accordingly
  • Work with marketing, SEO and content development teams to optimize customer acquisition
