QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

HEPER is a leading outdoor lighting manufacturer. With a local presence in the USA, Qatar, Russia, Brazil, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey and sales in over 70 countries, HEPER is positioned among the best international brands in its field. To support the company’s growth targets, the company is now looking to expand its sales team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electronics) or Architecture, Industrial Design/Lighting design
  • Holding a Master’s degree in reputable Lighting Design institutes is preferable
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
  • Excellent business or sales development, persuasion and follow-through skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and a great team player
  • Proven track record of designing, selling, and/or deploying industrial technology solutions; preferably in Lighting Sector
  • Having a driving license
  • Having no restriction for traveling abroad


Key Responsibilities:

  • Together with the management, set up a Sales Development system that will successfully:

* Define the right parameters to select the company’s target markets

* Map the target market's main players, competitors, opportunities, certification needs, design preferences, pricing, etc.

* Identify the main contractors, clients, MEPs, architects, lighting designers, and consultants. Understand what type of projects they are involved in, which brands they mostly use, their pain points, etc.

* Define the most suitable business model to apply in each market and build the right market entrance strategies, plans, P&Ls, and metrics

  • Contact new customers or HEPER’s customer database using cold calls, LinkedIn, emailing, etc.
  • Follow up on customers’ initial inquiries. Preparing offers, orders and following up with the whole sales cycle
  • Keep CRM updated with customer information, meeting notes, project details, and emails tracking
  • Negotiating sales conditions such as prices, delivery terms, warranty conditions, etc.
  • Organizing activities with the other departments (Marketing, Production, Logistics, R&D, PIM, etc) to successfully leverage the company's capabilities to the benefit of the customer (joint marketing, product launch, allocating R&D efforts to develop/adapt products needed in the market, align specific needs from production in terms of speed, product packaging, labeling, etc.)
  • Dealing with nonconformities, claims, etc.
  • Delivering company presentations and product training, establishing meetings with customers to follow projects
  • Researching new business opportunities, identifying the main players, establishing the company’s strengths and weaknesses, and designing a plan to develop those opportunities
  • Act as a communication bridge between customers and other departments, such as Production, Planning, Quality, Marketing and R&D
  • Reporting sales forecasts, sales performance, product development/certification needs, key projects followed
