Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a University ( technical bakcground)
Minimum 2 years of experience with exposure to several HSE areas preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Operation
C class safety expert certificate
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, IFS
Familiarity with British Retail Consortium (BRC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) , Hazard Analysis and G.F.S.I. Standards;
Knowledge of ADR will be an asset
NEBOSH or IOSH certificate will be an asset
Environmental officer certificate will be an asset
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Competent with MS Office
Job Description:
Nitiate and influence integration of HSE policies and practies into the company
Implement HSE programs and procedures to ensure compliance
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
Engage in activities associated with satisfying business, customer and regulatory expectations
Ensure the attainment and sustenance of any certification at the site being carried out
Maintain food safety and quality through adherence to GMP,GDP,Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and quality procedures. Keep track of safety and legislation developments
Implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems
Conduct HSE trainings
Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution, using with root cause analysis (RCA)
Manage the development and implementation of effective emergency action plans
Perform scheduled audits and keep records and follow up decisions / actions to be taken.
Participate risk assesments activities, and update it when required.
