Scope
Support the IT Manager by leading hub and local IT initiatives.
Challenge IT initiatives to ensure appropriate and realistic business justifications are provided.
Manage all aspects of the IT infrastructure, capacity planning, stability, contingency and disaster recovery planning.
Maximize network and application security to protect company intellectual property from unauthorized access and provide for appropriate separation of duties controls.
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and licensed software.
Ensure backups of all major applications and company intellectual property data is taken regularly in accordance to company policy.
Support the operational HOD’s with the management of the IT Systems in their departments.
Manage to hub driven and develops local IT PnP’s and SOP’s.
Follow company guidelines as they relate to the security and operation of computer systems.
Keeps aware of IT trends as they relate to the hospitality industry.
Manage to maximize the returns from IT capital investments focusing on improved profitability, guest services or operations.
Qualifications
Diploma in IT Management or similar qualification in IT.
Two or more years experience in IT department in a luxury resort or hotel.
Good command on both English and Turkish.
Additional languages are beneficial.
Ability to install and administer computer operations.
Hardware, software and networks installation, coding and protection.
Analytical, organization and problem solving abilities.
Strong enforcer of security policies, keeping within legal restrictions.
Experience in Active Directory, Domain Structure
Solid knowledge of networking TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, VLAN and wireless.
Solid knowledge of email protocols (Office 365)
Knowledge of IP telephones and PBX management.
Exposure to data cabling CAT6, Fiber.
Strong knowledge of HP switch CLI management.
Good knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality.
Great attention to details.
Creative and innovative.
Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks/projects accordingly and in a timely manner.
