We are looking for a "IT Support Specialist / Senior Specialist" to join our IT team!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably computer science or information technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tech support or a similar role
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to self-motivate.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/MS SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of networking protocols and components
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software


Job Description

  • Ensure business IT software and hardware runs smoothly.
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Assisting with IT equipment sourcing and budgeting
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Identify gaps in the support process and amend it accordingly
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation
