QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Brensan is a joint venture of US and Turkish companies and active in design and manufacturing of military and industrial power systems and batteries that meet the stringent standards.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that our products meet all necessary requirements before they reach to our high-profile customers.
Responsibilities
· Maintain and improve a quality management system including configuration management
· Organize design and production readiness reviews in coordination with the project manager
· Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
· Manage product configuration and reporting
· Design and implement the engineering change management process
· Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance and create incoming inspection records in ERP.
· Monitor maintenance and calibration status of production equipment and update status in ERP.
· Monitor shelf-life of materials and chemicals and update status in ERP.
· Track product returns from customers and take actions to replace a new product where necessary.
· Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
· Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
· Set quality metrics for production, inspect final output and conduct approval/rejection procedures
· Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
· Perform root cause analysis for problems and recommend solutions
· Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
· Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
· Be on the lookout for opportunities for product and process improvement
Qualifications
· Proven experience as quality engineer
· Experience in ERP systems
· Experience in Office programs, i.e.excel
· In depth understanding of quality standards and relevant industrial/military standards for electronic systems
· Having a keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
· Being a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
· Good organizational and communication skills
· Good command of English language, written and spoken
· Graduate from relevant departments of universities
· BSc in engineering is preferred
