QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Steelcord operations Turkey are part of our Advanced Wire Products. Bekaert wants to maintain and develop the Turkey plants as a world-class manufacturing unit, with customers in Turkey and other countries mainly in Europe.
YOUR ROLE: You will
· Own a process domain in technology, develop activities in order to support the production of a high quality products for internal and external customer
· Analyze the critical parameters of the production process, propose and implement modifications which have a positive impact on stability of process and product properties in order to improve effectiveness, cost, quality, health and safety,with the help of Six Sigma and Lean Management tools
· Establish and improve daily management practices for your process domain, to achieve excellent performance in quality
· Define and manage improvement projects in the plants and develop the benchmark for processes within a defined scope, in function of product and process innovation, and efficiency targets
· Cooperate intensively with the other process engineers, production, planning and maintenance teams in complex and integrated projects
· Follow up the technical developments in know-how related to your technology domain and propose the use of new technologies,by building effective relationships with the International Technical Center & Process Engineers in Bekaert plants worldwide and external partners
· Report to the Turkey Technology Manager
YOUR PROFILE: You have
· You hold a University degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
· 1-2 years of automotive industry experience, OEM, production process functions is a bonus
· Analytical thinking capabilities together with your hands-on approach enable you to achieve the targets set forward
· You are a results oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
· You have professional growth ambitions
· You can work autonomously and you have a creative, innovative and flexible approach
· You are a PC literate
· Excellent command of both written and spoken English (candidates will be expected to take the IELTS General Test)
· You should reside in Izmit/ Kocaeli
