Responsibilities:
- Serve patients by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Inform patients by answering or referring inquiries.
- Process and manage calendar and event coordination internally.
- Share, replicate and research best practices across the industry to identify opportunities to enhance the patient experience.
- Successfully utilize the scheduling system to maximize test opportunities for the clinic.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of patient-centered care, utilizing multiple tools (surveys, analytic data, patient interactions) to understand and consistently improve our patients’ journey.
- Actively call current, past, and prospective patients through identified sources. Track and report appointment results.
- Responsible for professionally answering incoming phone calls and messages, as well as organizing follow-up activities with patients.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming office and work environment.
- Perform clinic/unit observations to understand workflows and barriers to patient experience improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent scheduling and organization skills
- Ability to work independently as well as an integral part of the patient experience team
- Motivation to learn, grasp and update clinical knowledge regularly
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication, human relations, and persuasion skills
Knowledge of and ability to use and apply medical terminology is a plus but is not required.
Previous relevant work experience is a plus but is not required.
