Çelebi Ground Handling was originally founded on February 1st, 1958 at Ankara Esenboğa Airport by Ali Cavit Çelebioğlu as the first privately-owned ground handling services company in the Turkish aviation industry.


The traditions and the knowledge and experience that it has built up ever since, the importance that it gives to investing in new technology and in people and its ability to be both flexible and quick in whatever it does have made Çelebi Ground Handling the leader of its sector in Turkey and one of the premier ground handling services companies in Europe. ÇGH is at the service of more than 250 customers, the majority of which are international airlines flying in and out of Turkey.


We are looking for a “Key Account Management Assistant Manager” with the following qualifications within the Key Account Management Department of Çelebi Ground Handling Headquarter.


General Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from Engineering/Business Administration/Economy, etc. departments,

• Having 5-8 years of experience in customer business management,

• Knowing aviation industry dynamics and key stakeholders is a strong plus,

• Fluent in English is a must,

• Extended experience in customer relations,

• Systematic and analytical thinking,

• Strong communication and negotiation skills,

• Balancing multiple demands and obtaining coordination,

• Persistence in achieving required results.


Job Description:

• To manage the Key Account Management activities, general aims, objectives and budget for the selected customers,

• Main “Contact Person” (internal and external) for the selected Accounts, taking the responsibility for the successful development of the relationship and business with them,

• Represent the account in the internal meetings relating to strategy, local/global activities and all processes as the “Voice of The Customer”, acting as an account delegate within the company, supporting internal and external relevant stakeholders,

• Streamline internal processes to fulfill the requirements of each account in his/her portfolio starting from tender invitation to conclusion of the business,

• Responsible for strategic account sales planning as integral part of business plan and budget planning. Responsibility to coordinate and ensure revenue and profitability margins for contractual agreements (SGHA/SLA),

• Monitor account performance and satisfaction consistently and apply corrective measures to achieve measurable results as budgeted.
