Salinen Aktiengesellschaft and Safir Tuz, supplies premium salt to the wholesale, retail and consumer markets throughout the world.

We are looking for a:
Laboratory and Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Kirikkale, Turkey
Working Hours: Full-time
Reporting to the plant manager you will ensure food safety and quality of all products produced in the plant. Ensure specifications are defined and communicated. Perform inspections of processes, employee training, compliance with applicable food laws and regulations. You will define best lab practices and provide guidance and adherence to quality policies. Participate in resolving customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Professional and organizational management of Laboratory / Quality Assurance
- Establishment of procedures and quality standards for the workflows in the laboratory
- Regular training and promoting of further training of laboratory personnel
- Administrative activities such as compilation of statistics, audit reports, CoAs and CoCs
- Monitoring of compliance with existing policies concerning safety and health in the laboratory
- Determining the policies for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Quality Control Systems
- Long-term assurance of product quality and procedures according to the certified standards: ISO9001, ISO14001, IFS, GMP+, GMP
- Planning and conduct of certification audits, customer audits as well as internal audits
- Responsible for Claims Management
Qualifications:
- Higher education in the fields of chemistry or food technology
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in a GMP/GLP-environment
- You conduct work in compliance with GMPs, safety and regulatory requirements
- Leadership behaviors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have a native level of Turkish and are fluent in English or in German
