Being part of the Global Team you will be Reporting to the Global BMS Manager in Belgium (BMS stands forBekaert Manufacturing System) and employed in our Turkey-İzmit Steelcord Plant.

The Lean Manufacturing Experts drive the continuous improvement of BMS, by developing and rolling out new global standards, systems and tools for shop floor management. They also define and roll out the required governance and processes to ensure the sustainability of BMS.

YOUR ROLE: You will

· Lead VSM project in Pilot plant

· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress together with consultant

· Execute MIFa exercise in Pilot plant together with consultant

· Support and coach local project team during the implementation of defined lean concepts on the shop floor

· Act as single point of contact for local project team and consultant to ensure team actions remain in synergy

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to capture all learnings and prepare Lean manufacturing system roll out play book

· Report and escalate to management in regular basis

· Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

· Integrate the learnings of Lean Pilot to BMS sytem by working together with other Domain owners, supply chain team and digital manufacturing team

· Develop roll out roadmap and roll out integrated & adapted lean manufacturing system in Rubber Reinforcement plants

· Develop training material (BMA) and train internal trainers on lean manufacturing tools and concepts

YOUR PROFILE: You have

· You have a master degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or related Engineering field,

· You have min 5 years experience inautomotive industry

· You have good experience in lean manufacturing/Toyota production system

· You are able to work cross-functionally

· You have impact on others, incl. senior Mgmt.

· You are a good listener, capable of encouraging and motivating people

· You have good project management skills

· You are perseverant but flexible

· You have strong analytical skills

· You are rigorous, action and results oriented and committed to deliver results

· You are ready to travel 30% of the time

· Excellent command of English
