QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- University degree in Law
- 10 years of experience in multinational Finance companies or Banks
- Profound knowledge in banking law
- Contracts, Commercial, Consumer, Obligations, Corporate (Consumer Finance, Financial and Operating Lease, Insurance Services) and Competition law and legislation know-how and practical experience
- Reliable, dedicated and high level of integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
We are looking for a Legal, Compliance and Business Controls Assistant Manager for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Turkey.
- Together with his/her direct report, follows up local legislation (BDDK regulations, Finansman/Leasing/Factoring Law, Commercial Code, Antitrust legislation, Consumer Credit law, Central Bank requirements, Capital Market law)
- Ensures proper implementation of BDDK, Central Bank and MASAK regulatory changes and other legislative progresses
- Advises on daily operations in line with Turkish Commercial Code, Consumer Law and all related legislation and regulations (Board Decisions, Circulatory, Legal Documents, etc.)
- Prepares and ensures compliance of the Company’s statutory processes e.g. General Assembly and Board of Directors decisions
- Ensures that all legally required public announcements/publications are in time completed
