QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a new co-worker who will join us as Logistics Specialist in our EGGER Gebze Plant, which produces plastic edgebanding.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related fields,
- Excellent written and conversational skills in English,
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in export and import logistics related functions,
- Good command of MS Office applications,
- SAP knowledge is an asset,
- Self-motivated and have business mind-set with strong analyze skills,
- Strong interpersonal skills and team member,
- No military obligation for male candidates,
- Living in Gebze, İzmit, İstanbul Anatolian Side (İdealtepe-Cevizli-Atalar-Kartal-Sahilyolu-Pendik-E5-EGGER), (Acıbadem-E5-EGGER)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analyzing the customer orders and production schedules for shipments,
- Handling all shipments and delivery processes and arranging all necessary documents for exporting and importing,
- Communicating with Customs Agent and Forwarders regularly related with each shipment,
- Assisting customer service team and area managers related with shipment enquiries,
- Classifying and archiving the export shipment documents,
- Carrying out the invoicing process,
- Preparing all the necessary documents for Customs, transporters and customers,
- Negotiating with contracted / prospective carriers for an agreement,
- To prepare reports and data requested by top managers, to share data with customers and all necessary departments.
