QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or graduate of Logistics departments.

· Competent at MS Office software skills

· Competent at SAP/ LE-WM module

· Min 3 year experience in Logistics departments or industry; chemical industry, or retailer sector experience is an asset.

· Warehouse coordination experience is a plus

· Project Management Experience is a plus

· 5S and Kaizen Knowledge is a plus

· Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills

· Strong Analytical thinking and analysis reports

Fluent in both written and spoken English

· No obstacles for travelling.

· Completed military service for male candidates

· Living in or willing to relocate to Gebze, İstanbul Asian Side or İzmit

· The Logistics specialist is responsible for general support to the logistics manager in all data management related topics. In addition the logistics specialist should convert the data through analyses into relevant information.

· Develop, maintain, monitor and improve Logistics KPI’s.

· Define & Deploy reporting processes (financial and operational) to monitor performance.

· Identify and participate in improvement projects in order to decrease costs and increase service performance.

· Involve in cross departmental processes (new product launches / customer returns / cleaning obsolete stocks etc.)

· Prepare business flows diagrams on various logistic activities

· Responsible for coordinating logistic service providers.

· Responsible for Inter Company Deliveries with other AkzoNobel plants across the world.
