QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Logistics Specialist

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Bolu / Turkey Production Facilities,to plan, execute and control the storage and delivery of finished goods for domestic and export markets in order to guarantee product availability at distribution centers according to the Barilla stock policies and/or customer agreed SLA’s, at the lowest total cost possible, while following Policies and Procedures to ensure Product Integrity and compliance to EH&S Best Practices.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Organization of vehicles, planning & preparation of loading order, preparation of road transport documents etc., performing logistic operations in accordance with the daily logistics plan by performing operational works for domestic & export markets
  • Following the loading, repacking, handling and labeling operations in accordance to quality process
  • Being responsible from counting of incoming and outgoing products
  • Solving the problems about product delivery process with responsible person
  • Follow-up of all the material and products in the warehouse and following from ERP and WMS system
  • Entering returns, products and purchased products to ERP system and to proceed the accounting of free product outputs to the ERP system
  • Being responsible from GMP of the warehouse, following the technical capabilities of technical tools
  • Attending to warehouse’s monthly and annual counting activity
  • Organizing the necessary forms and records, ensuring all the documents are filed and protected
  • Preparing the daily logistics activity reports
  • Following up daily, monthly and yearly KPI’s and being responsible for MOH of the Logistics activities.
  • Responsible for EH&S activities and its Hand in Hand development
  • Able to plan and implement BP & Strategic Plan activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistic or related
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
  • Good command of Logo / Excel /MS Office or related planning tools
  • Ability to understand & apply costing & budgetary principles
  • Develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
  • Use associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle and manage the stock levels, delivery times and total cost of ownership
  • Strong communication skills, good organizational and planning skills
  • Positive, motivated, willingness to learn and develop process
  • Residence in Bolu or able to move to Bolu city
