Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for aLogistics Specialist in Turkey with a contractual offer basis in a one year period.
Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be responsible within the area of Logistics for transportation, customs, and phytosanitary clearance. This includes the planning and organization of transportation means according to the volume and sourcing plan.
- Responsible for following all legal and regulatory requirements related to seed and other product movements. Responsible for transport and customs documentation as needed.
- Create delivery notes and shipments for Interplant, domestic and international deliveries.
- Order logistics services for scheduled deliveries from the list of approved suppliers.
- Responsible for all import & export customs clearance, getting necessary permits.
- Preparation of import & export documents for shipments from EU countries.
- Responsible for reconciliation of the transport invoices.
Job Qualifications
- University degree at related areas
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles
- English proficiency is a must
- Knowledge of information systems supporting logistics activities.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (e.g. MS Office, SAP)
- Ability to operate independently and to take the initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interface well with wide variety of people
- Excellent team player
- Very high level of energy and strongly results oriented
- Positive attitude, with an open-minded approach to learning
