QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for logistical activities.
  • Following up the delivery dates and organizing transportation accordingly.
  • Getting quotations from different transport companies.
  • Bookings for transports and chasing the deliveries.
  • Support other Merhcant teams as required to ensure service delivery is planned and carried out in accordance with service level agreements
  • Tasks relating to 3rd party logistics & warehousing including the booking of dispatches and returns, and inventory maintenance.
  • The raising and maintenance of purchase orders for services supplied by 3rd parties and for any other orders concerning the logistics operation.
  • Administration of invoices for customs and customers.
  • Administration of packing lists.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Ability to communicate confidently with all stakeholders across all levels
  • The ability to take ownership and accountability for day to day responsibilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to understand the customer’s requirements
  • To contribute to continuous improvement in current work practices and
  • A passion and interest for working
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and preferably experience of using SAP / CoreTex

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Preferably experienced in textile
  • At least intermediate level of English both verbal and speaking.
