QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSC / MSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance within minimum 5 years of experience as supervisor, leader or manager roles.
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Having knowledge and experience at Management Systems like health, safety, especially on related to the topics of environmental legislation and quality standards
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Plan and organize maintenance work to ensure breakdowns are minimized and fixed rapidly when they do occur. Minimal production losses due to machinedown-time.
- Be in partnership with BRC, ISO 9001-14001-45001 management system stakeholders .
- Manage the supply of spare parts. Optimal balance between stock cost and repair time.
- Manage implementation of training of subordinates, and machine operators as required.
- Manage planning and implementation of contractor and purchasing activities for investments. Planned investments are done on time and within budget.
- Manage maintenance and repair activities requiring external companies and/or contractors. Ensure rapid and economical service. Leading to effective maintenance and reduced breakdowns.
- Manage Improvement equipment and infrastructure. Improved safety and productivity.
- Manage implementation OHSE in maintenance department. Provide a safe and healthy working environment
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
