QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 13 years of overall experience, including 5+ years team management
- Project management experience in product development
- Six sigma training or certifications required
- Electronic board manufacturing and testing experience is a plus
- Embedded HW/SW development lifecycle experience is a plus
- Very good level of written and spoken English
- Efficient reporting skills
- High communication, negotiation and governance skills
- Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited reaction time exists
- Self-motivated, team player and ability to lead others
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Manufacturer Project Leader to drive the manufacturing activities of projects in coordination with manufacturing partners, suppliers and Airties internal teams. Also leads the process improvement and cost reduction projects to enhance operational productivities in manufacturing operations of Airties and with partners.
Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing part of Customization Projects
- New part sampling and approval
- FW verification in manufacturing lines
- Golden Sample preparation and approval
- Customer sample preparation in local warehouse
2. Manufacturing part of Platform Projects
- Time plan development to synchronize manufacturing focused items on project plan
- SR, PR, Issue follow up with technical teams
- Manufacturing line verification with six-sigma approach
- Material shortage and alternative component approval management
- Project lead in manufacturing location change platform projects
3. Manufacturing Life-Cycle Management
- Drive manufacturing part of new supplier / manufacturer evaluation
- Manage in-house or outsourced development of Manufacturing Tools (i.e; plastic injection, test software, test fixtures)
- Manufacturing line capacity/ invest management
4. Process Improvements
- Support and drive standardization projects
- Drive and support process improvement activities with internal teams and manufacturing partners
- Lead and follow manufacturing related mass production issue and solutions
