Position Purpose
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand positioning, lead generation, sales growth and customer retention through marketing activities in support of the CHEP Turkey’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
· Ensure that marketing programmes and activities are executed ensuring brand compliance and also coordinated with global and regional initiatives and programs
· Regularly report on progress against plans with clear metrics on all activities (digital and non-digital activities)
Work together with other local functions and regional/globalmarketing functions to ensure local market application and input into the following areas of focus:
Retention & Loyalty
· Execute country-specificomni-channel marketing communication activities in support of the country leadership team and business strategy to include digital campaigns across all CHEP social media channels
· Develop and implement a full events calendar to include pre/during/post event campaigns to ensure the alignment of industry perception and assess/evaluate impact for future planning
· Work with regional communication function to ensure consistent and regular content, PR and industry engagement activities. Generate content related to macro-economic issues aligned to local country markets & CHEP solutions and business model
· Work with agencies to identify key sponsorship and awardactivities. Once the impact has been assessed, ensure award-winning content & budget allocation is generated in line with business strategy
· Using the customer journey, implement customer loyalty & advocacy initiatives to delight our customers and improve brand perception & longevity of relationships
· Work with and support the asset productivity team, e.g. implement direct mail and/or digital campaigns to inform and encourage high asset returns & legal title knowledge.
Sales enablement (growth)
· Support lead generation and management across both digital and traditional marketing channels. Help to execute and track/optimise local market commercial marketing campaigns, helping to generate a consistent supply of quality leads in support of revenue targets for each segment.
· In coordination with central and global teams, implement and manage effective digital strategies including the launch, ongoing management, and search engine optimisation (SEO) of chep.com.
· Provide suitable and appropriate marketing and sales materials to the commercial teams to assist in their activities as they move customers through the Buyer’s Journey for each targeted segment (incl. Sales material, case studies & testimonials)
· Support the capture, synthesis, and analysis of market and competitive intelligence to help inform commercial and competitive strategies
· Support the segmentation of markets and work with the commercial team to implement tactics to target key growth markets
· Work with the commercial team and regional NPS team to deliver commercial marketing activities to existing customers to increase share of wallet, upsell or cross-sell in areas of reduced customer spend
· Work with the country and commercial leadership teams on strategic customer tenders and win-back offers
· Give input to innovation agenda, and support the adoption & launch of new products and solutions in the local market applying segmentation, market insights and Buyer’s Journey frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
· Supply Chain management and sales experience would be advantageous
