QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain & Procurement team who will be work cross-functionally with different departments such as the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Factory Teams. He/she is the internal expert of demand plan accuracy, demand plan bias, sales forecasting and case fill rate with a good level of knowledge on production planning.
Main Responsibilities;
- Refresh 18-month demand plan in a monthly basis (Product and Location/Channel level),
- Provide weekly demand plan to Distribution planner and Supply Planner,
- Improve the accuracy and reliability of the Demand Plan through projection of the most accurate estimate of customer demand and manage exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organization's Supply Chain in fulfilling customer demand, Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor information; other external / internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan,
- Implement improvements to Demand and Supply Planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies etc.),
- Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders,
- To help ensure commitment from all functions, build and maintain good communication and collaboration both within Supply Chain and with Generating Demand, Manufacturing and Finance,
- Provide input data for MSR (Monthly Sales Review) meetings,
- Manage Master Data for the portfolio.
