QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a bachelor degree
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills: good knowledge of all Microsoft Office Packages is a must
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and independently


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception and entire office area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Ensure showroom area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary brochures, catalogs.
  • Support wholesale team in coordination of showroom and inspecting returned items from the wholesale customers
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries and follow up stationary needs of the retail stores
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties.
