Operation Assistant General Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Overseeing all claim cases.
· Overseeing detention & demurrage (DND) cases.
· Handling upper management reports.
· Negotiating & organizing terminal agreements.
· Overseeing vendor tariff agreements and applying to HQ.
· Supporting finance team for tariff/invoice related problems.
· Overseeing sub-agent related tasks.
· Backing-up Istanbul OPD colleagues, when/if necessary.
· Announcing all country and Cosco Shipping Lines regulations to Turkey colleagues.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 5 years of experience in the field of maritime transport operation.
· Experienced in vessel/port/customs procedures & terminal agreements.
· Bachelor’s degree in a related fields.
· Fluency in English. (Interview will be held in English)
· Meticulous in job follow-up and time management, successful in stress management.
· Able to focus on more than one job at the same time and successful in stress management.
· Advanced planning, organization, presentation, communication and reporting skills.
· Resident in Istanbul.
