What you will be doing:
- Responsible from the preparation of pide, lahmacun and other appetizer and side items according to standard recipes
- To manage inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning and the issuing of supplies and equipment for pide and lahmacun production
- To cost relevant menus and dishes accurately
- To ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards & expectations
- To liaise daily with the outlet chef to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback
- To maintain and enhance the food products through creative menu development and presentation
- To maintain cleanliness and proper rotation of product in chillers
- To balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
- To ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- To follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- To follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Your experience and skills include:
- 5 years of previous experience in pide specialist position in five star hotels or similar restaurants
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
- Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
