RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is required to manage the material requirements planning and scheduling of production materials (components and packaging) to meet both the internal and external forecast demand load provided. The role requires leadership and ownership across the Power Train Europe planning activities. In terms of logisctics, manages the Operations' domestic and international logistics, including customer service, inventory control, material control, traffic, shipping receiving, material handling functions and personnel (hourly and salary).Develops procedures and policies for the material department to support the Gates Izmir systems to the automotive industry. Sets and maintains budgets. Supports engineering and marketing quotes. Overall responsibility for strategic direction for production material planning. Control functions including dispatch/warehouse scheduling and the material handling function.
Sets and maintains budgets. Monitor teams' performances, prepare progress reports for senior management and recommend changes as necessary. Responsible for month-end reports. Responsible for reporting dept performance on a periodic basis .Personal key indicators in accordance to objectives set by Factory Manager.
The responsibility covers set up and optimization of the information flow: data management accuracy, system parameters are key to achieve process efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years experience in industry in a related area (material flow material control production planning, logistics) and experience working with related computer software systems. Prefer people supervision experience. Must be fluent in English both written and verbal.
Requires verbal communication skills to effectively deal with people while maintaining
a professional image. Organizational and time management skills are necessary along with analytical ability to recognize and correct planning and customer issues before they escalate.
Ability to master systems used. Requires fluency in English
