We are looking for a “Plant Manager" who has experience in food production. This position will directly report to General Manager as well as Global Vice President of Manufacturing.

Job Summary:
The Plant Manager oversees all operations of the facility which includes the aspects production, quality assurance, maintenance, engineering and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE). The reporting line of the Plant Manager is directly to the General Manager and has a dotted line to the Global Vice President Manufacturing of the Group.
Essential Functions:

1. Enforce global and local company policies in the area of safety, environment, property risk management, risk management, quality, compliance and customer service.
2. Enforce safe working areas and procedures while maintaining safe equipment and improving safety standards in the plant.
3. Enforce company standards in work areas and production environment for safety and cleanliness.
4. Enforce WWTP & environmental compliance and performance and ensure all WWTP & environmental reports, paperwork & digital data for the plant are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
5. Enforce that all products meet all quality standards and regularly monitor the quality to ensure consistency and continuous improvement; therefore assure an appropriate QA and QC system
6. Enforce company standards for sanitation, housekeeping and GMP are met.
7. Establish and maintain the contact to legal authorities for regulatory, municipality, and legal affairs.
8. Manage the deployment of company strategies or tactical projects into plant activities.
9. Manage the day-to-day operations in the Plant and ensure that annual cost budgets are met.
10. Manage capital asset management and maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
11. Provide direction, development (mentoring) and leadership to all managers, supervisors and all employees.
12. Provide leadership and training (mandatory) to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
13. Responsible for production process and process information to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement.
14. Responsible for ensuring all production reports, production paperwork, and digital data for production are accurate and recorded in a timely manner.
15. Responsible that the principles and practices of the operational excellence program.
16. Responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Technical/Engineering fields.
2. (5+) five plus years plant/general management in a food manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in continuous process environment is preferred.
4. Previous Managerial or supervisor experience is required.
5. Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
6. Fluent in English
7. Advance knowledge and certificates of Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, BRC, Halal) is preferred
