- High technical education, Bachelor degree, Master degree preferable
- More than 2 years of experience in production in a supervision role.
- People management experience
- Result oriented
- Good communication skills
- Autonomy, leadership, ownership
- Strong understanding of production process, lean manufacturing, seed market
Job Description
- Ensures that all productions activities are in line with company ESH standards and rules and is accountable for safety compliance. Guarantee the onboarding and training of new people. Promote safety culture and facilitate safety programs adoption
- Manage processing operations in his supervision perimeter. It can include the following workshops: receiving, drying, shelling, cleaning, sizing, treating and packaging, warehousing
- Lead the operations following One PSS concept and leverage Lean manufacturing best practices ( Team work , 5S, focus improvement, visual management )
- Ensures that all produced seeds are in line with company quality standards
- Controls the usage of consumables (packaging materials, treatment, spare parts) and anticipate resources and needs according to planning
- Takes part in continuous production process and equipment improvement in order to increase operational excellence, to improve production result, to maximize plant output and to improve adherence to planning
- Develops, trains and evaluates performance of direct reports and temporary workers
- Ensure people resource planning and participate to seasonal hiring
