PROCESS ENGINEER
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering from a reputable university with a good knowledge and experience in automotive industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process design & development.
- Experienced in mechanical design of machine parts, new equipments, new machines by understanding the functions.
- Able to write and develop technical specifications/standards.
- Technical knowledge about sealing products manufacturing and rubber molding technologies (compression, transfer, injection molding).
- Able to use 2D and 3D design softwares (e.g. Autocad, Autodesk, UG NX).
- Knowledge about problem solving tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Redx etc.).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) within global organization and strong presentation skills.
- Good command of written and verbal English.
- Good at project management.
- Good at teamwork.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- B class driver's license.
- No travel obligations.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing feasibility of the new products together with Product Engineering team, determining the production processes, necessary tools, equipment and investments,
- Preparing technical specifications for new machines, managing its launching process,
- Participating in problem solving teams,
- Planning, developing and improving production methods and industrial processes,
- Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data,
- Standardization of production processes, machines and equipment,
- Participating in new project team meetings, managing & following new projects to sustain project status,
- Support to be granted to Operation department with following activities:
- Training of both white and blue collars
- Technical standards of all machines in the production cells
- Root cause analysis and actions definition for downtimes and quality problems
- Maintain Key KPI’s, to ensure effective management and measures for success,
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to execute process improvement projects which result in increased productivity, reduced scrap rate or a reduction in operational risk.
