QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Lean Manufacturing Engineer” for our global and multinational company, which is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, located in Bursa with the following qualifications.
- University degree from Industrial/Mechanical Engineering departments,
- At least 3 years experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies,
- Excellent command of both written & spoken English,
- Target oriented, resistant to stress, good communication skills,
- Good team working skills with the willingness to accomplish tasks in harmony with other team members,
- Ability to take part in the planning & impelementation (taking on the leading role if required) of significant projects as a part of multi-disciplinary team,
- Ability to teach and influence others
- Live/Willing to live in or close to Bursa
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and coordinate all Lean Manufacturing related activities and projects for the plant;
- Plan, executing and manage projects to complete through continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing cost reduction projects with using lean manufacturing methods ( Standard work, line balancing, time studies, etc.)
- Design and optimize the process and material work flow to reach the high level throughput of processes with eliminating the non value added operations (VSM, Process mapping, SMED, kaizen etc.) and implementing workplace organization methodologies ( 5S, etc.)
- Ensure and manage of Structured Problem Solving related activities for the plant ( Problem Solving, Lessons Learned )
- Live and promote the Lean Manufacturing principles and methods,
- Participate in a global or local Lean Manufacturing related and cross-functional projects
- Ensure the achievement of Lean Manufacturing related targets according to internal and external customer expectations,
- Execute workshops, trainings and coaching of plant employees and management in order to introduce and develop Lean Manufacturing philosophy, principles and methods (e.g. lean thinking, continuous improvement culture, lean leadership, etc.).
