KT&G is currently seeking "Process Engineer" for supporting functions of Manufacturing Department Tire Factory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree on Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing field, preferable tobacco industry
- Experience in lean manufacturing and built in quality is preferred.
- Skills in measuring methods and statistical analysis usage.
- Aiming and lead the production for zero defect.
- Take an active role in all production trials to satisfy required specifications.
- Take initiative, effective communication skills, team player, and quick-learner.
- Good command in English.
- Good level of computer skills, MS-Office, ERP.
Job Description
- Executing and leading the processes for eliminating losses by effective problem solving and process control systems.
- To plan and execute production plans in line with sales forecast.
- Creating and establishing centerline targets & limits for the lines to be ensure that the line process stops are under control.
- Managing daily managements systems to improve the line performance day by day.
- Driving performance through loss elimination and continuous improvement leading problem-solving activities using standard problem solving tools to solve the chronic problems on the line in a timely manner.
- Reviews brand change/size change/format change critiques to identify and implement improvement opportunities to achieve criteria’s and standards.
- Leads and participates actively in the brand change/size change events to identify additional opportunities for change over process optimization.
- Build the capability of team on process failures technical troubleshooting and mastery of process transformation through coaching and delivering on the job training. Ensure the completion of the established training plan.
- To plan production and test processes, capacity, material flow, layout, work and test instructions and statistical methods.
- To perform lean operations, productivity improvement for new products to manufacturing.
- Provides continuous monitoring of compliance with process parameters on production lines and sections specifications, requirements.
- Provides effective results in losses reducing.
- Conducts the using of new raw materials, semi-finished goods.
- During introduction new technologies, equipment, reconstruction of production sections and lines, analyses compliance with the identified parameters and deviations initiate their review or revision.
- Develops measures and analyzes its performance according to result of internal and corporate audits, developed at the shop floor measures and aimed to improve production processes, existing procedures, requirements and instructions, controls and initiates timely reissuing of documents of ISO Standard.
