QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum – University Degree, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Aircraft, Marine, Chemistry,Metallurgy and Material Engineering
- Min. 2 years of experience at the same position
- Active knowledge of English
- Knowledge of MS Office
- SAP knowledge is an asset
- Flexible in travel and working hours
- Good in Communication, decision making, problem solving
- Planning and organizing ability
- Analytical ability
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor, control and adjust the hot end equipments and tools in order to meet manufacturing targets, to reduce costs and to maximise the equipment lifecycle. Provide technical reports and analysis on the production process. Identify problems and take corrective actions. Manage the manufacturing information system. Responsible for process excellence and continuous process improvement with change initiatives.Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing team. Participate to maintenance and engineering projects. Follow operating and HSEQ procedures. May be specialised and assigned to specific stages of the manufacturing line.
• Reports have to be submitted to the Process& Quality Manager as a direct manager.
• Continuous cooperation with Production, Process & Quality, HSE and Purchasing departments.
• Regularly makes contact and meetings with Plant Support teams and counterpartners in the other plants.
• Contacts the machinery and equipment manufacturers and meets with them if necessary.
• Direct responsible and manager of hot end quality and process, which are the two main activities in the department.
• Respect, obey and full implementation of the procedures, values and instructions of the Company.
• In order to create a safe work and workplace concerning H&S in the department, all H&S legislations and company procedures must be fully implemented. Provides all necessary H&S trainings and Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s) to the him/herself.
• Planning, implementing and monitoring the quality activities for Hot End Process.
• Develops the hot end process parameters in coordination with Production.
• Monitor implementation of agreed and direct activities.
• In order to plan in updated and accurate manner, continuous cooperate with Production and HSEQ departments.
• Explore new methods of quality and hot end process development.
• Cost and time effective management of the equipments and tools in the cold end process and cold end laboratory.
• Develop strong relations with the interfaces, counterpartners and central teams.
• Prepare the quality and hot end process reports and take care that all received data are properly placed and presented to the Process& Quality Manager.
• Set up and monitor KPI’s for the hot end process and individuals.
• Monitor new technologies, machinery, equipment in the market and in the other KI hot end process and based on this create projects and programs according budget.
• Regular contact with the team members, central teams and counterpartners. Implementation of the central decisions.
• Take care that all hot end process and quality activities are defined on the most efficient way and that during the activities all resources (people, equipments, tools, and other assets) are used in the most efficient way, with minimal cost and in the most effective deadline.
