QUALIFICATIONS
DowAksa is offering the role of Process Specialist Engineer;
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Preferably MSc in related fields on Chemical Engineering, Process & Equipment Design
- Minimum 3 years experience in process design and commissioning as well as troubleshooting for the existing processes
- Preferably has knowledge of CAD Software
- Good knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, Minitab -or equivalent-
- Proved skills in data science and analytics
- Preferably experience in project management
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Residing or to be residing in Yalova or Karamürsel
- Having no obstacle for travelling inland or abroad.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process design activities within basic and/or detailed design phases within CAPEX projects
- Preparation of process and utility flow diagrams, Mass & Energy Balance calculations
- Raw material & utility consumption calculation for alternative investment options
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Prep/Rev
- Process input to equipment/instrument specifications
- Equipment design and selection
- Technical evaluation of equipment and system offers
- Leading/Participating in process safety studies such as HAZOP for new and existing processes
- Preparation of ‘Standard Operation Procedure’ for new equipment and process system
- Project / Process Start Up and Handover
- Dealing with daily quality and production issues for defined key performance indicators (waste, a grade quality, capacity increase, conversion), finding the right solution as the process responsible and implementing it to the existing operation
- Giving support to the product and process improvement projects, working with R&D and Manufacturing Team in the field.
