QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated Procurement Engineer to join our Supply Chain Team!

Responsibilities of Procurement Engineer:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required
- Analyze related suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing
- Request, receive and evaluate the quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, on-time delivery performance, schedule, and quality
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of products
- Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings and delivery date targets
- Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements
- Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions
- Collaborate with the Hardware Development team and participate in the coordination of engineering changes or new component launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
- Get alternative components approved by the design team to de-risk shortages or cost increases during design and MP phases
- Plan and organize the import-export works of the materials, shipments and provide support for all steps of the transportation
- Collaborate with Hardware development, Project management, Design, and Finance team where necessary
- Communicate and follow up quality problems with the suppliers, ensure sufficient improvement actions are taken to guarantee the level of quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience
- Electronics procurement experience is preferred
- Process development experience or Lean Six Sigma certificate is preferred
- Eager to learn and develop, curious by nature
- Highly skilled in problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking
- High level of communication skills, comfortable in communicating with people at different levels internally and externally
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and flexible when needed
