Turkey’s leading building material manufacturer Çimsa is operating with its integrated plants in Mersin, Eskişehir, and Afyonkarahisar, a grinding facility in Ankara.

As one of the first two brands in the world in white cement, Çimsa is an international cement manufacturer with its terminals in Houston (USA), Hamburg (Germany), Trieste (Italy), Sevilla and Alicante (Spain), Famagusta (T.R.N.C.), Constanza (Romania) and Novorossiysk (Russia). In the second quarter of 2019, Çimsa signed the agreement for the acquisition of Buñol, the white cement plant with Europe's most advanced production technology.

For our growing organization, we are currently looking for a strong profile to join our team as Procurement Specialist (Energy – Alternative Fuels & Raw Materials, Waste).

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree from reputable engineering departments alternatively equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience.

· Having up to 3 years experience, purchasing department experience is a plus.

· Having experience in supplier selection, & development, especially in energy or environmental business, is a plus.

· Very good command of both written and spoken English.

· Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.

· Ability work under stress.

· Good negotiation and communication skills.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem identification skills.

· Driver license B class.

· No restriction to travel.

· No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

· Operating procurement activities of relevant categories in accordance with department requirements,

· Ensuring energy (alternative fuels), alternative raw materials and waste disposal purchasing execution in line with defined objectives,

· Visiting Çimsa plants and suppliers to monitor and ensure the production, quality and environmental needs.

· Conveying the related RFQs to selected suppliers and facilitate the process of supplier selection,

· Identify, select, and qualify suppliers based on operational and market needs, (supplier & production plant visits are required)

· Implementing e-sourcing strategies to most of the purchasing activities.

· Issuing Purchase Orders and Contracts on SAP system for all procurement categories,

· Contract negotiation with suppliers.

· Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders (production plants, environmental departments, engineering, quality, supply chain, etc...) in problem solving,

· Supporting and participating in company’s business and cost reduction projects,

· Compliance with Company Procurement Policy.
