QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a 'Procurement Specialist (Raw Material)' . A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below.
Job Description;
- Establishing global purchasing strategies for the category under his/her responsibility and initiate tasks to reach business objectives
- Carrying out commercial negotiations, contract management with the suppliers and managing supplier relationships,
- Managing cost optimization and saving projects
- Driving innovation projects, workshops, alternative material and supplier approvals,
- Coordinating alternative material and supplier approvals,
- Following up and understanding of related sectors' dynamics.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields,
- Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing or Related Fields
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Having a global business perspective, understanding needs of the market & customer,
- Strong knowledge of communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, problem solving and planning
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications.
- Having experience in Project Management is preferable.
- Having the desire to perform challenging tasks,
- Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,
- Building collaboration with internal and external customers,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas
