QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Profile:
- With at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Must have a Bachelor degree in Agriculture with a very deep knowledge of the vegetable seed market in Turkey.
- Experience on indoor crops is a must.
- English is a must.
- Be technically competent to answer demands from customers.
- Business oriented, diplomatic, with good process negotiating skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Ready to travel frequently.
- Military service completed.
- High level of driving skills.
Tasks:
· Plan and conduct product development activities at the responsible location.
· Issue and present the reports requested by PD Manager.
· Set up, observe, and report product development trials.
· Responsible for D1&D2 varieties with his/her team.
· Plan and order the demonstration seeds.
· Manage the field/GH trial controls of legal entities.
· Conduct all the seed sowing and logistics process of PD trials at the nurseries.
· Analyse competition and report market research (competitors, product prices, trends, threats, opportunities etc.)
· Collecting data and preparing the registration files for the new varieties in responsible areas.
· Create good relationships with distributors, nurseries, dealers, relevant public offices, and institutions.
· Carry out activities to increase customer satisfaction and company determination.
· Conduct the development and the promotion of new varieties under management of PD Manager.
· Assist and support sales team in direct sales by marketing activities.
· Solve the possible technical product problems.
· Organize field days & Open days with sales teams.
· Attend to PMC meetings when needed.
