Danfoss Power Solutions has an opening for a Product Engineer
Product Engineer leads or participates product engineering projects. Use engineering technical expertise and project management knowledge for product change, improvement and corrective actions. Coordinates product change, trial production and follows up test results. Initiates change procedure and carries out related actions. Participates and supports R&D and quality projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads and participates in engineering projects.
- Leads and directs material and design change projects.
- Prepares and updates product design, engineering standards, bill of materials
- Participates and follows new product development studies and trials.
- Leads engineering database and program improvements and changes.
- Participates in cost reduction, quality improvement and certification programs.
- Participates in material consumption and verification studies.
- Follows product trials and prepares reports
- Works together with sales, supply management, production and quality departments on projects and trials
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering Preferred
- Typically has 1 to 3 years of experience·
- Excellent level of English both verbally and in writing
- Chemical, Industrial, Material or Mechnical Engineering. Plastic extrusion experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn, Functions well under pressure, Knowledge management, Perform effectively in a deadline environment, Process improvement, Analytical aproach to problems, Problem solving, Team work and good relationship.
