QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


Akenerji is the first private electricity generation auto-producer established in Turkey. Since its establishment in 1989, Akenerji has grown its activities in generation, retail sales and trading in both local and international markets. Akenerji’s current installed capacity is now 1224 MW supplying nearly 3% of Turkey’s consumption.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to work in the Projects department of our Head Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering departments,
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Energy Generation,
  • Actively involved in project management and business development processes,
  • Strong representation skills in verbal and written communication,
  • Able to use MS Office programs at advanced level,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
  • Strong following skill,
  • Compatible with teamwork,
  • Can actively drive and no restriction for travelling,
  • Male candidates must have completed military service.

Job Description

  • To manage the tasks determined within the extent of the project in accordance with the approved project budget and deadlines,
  • To support the procurement of necessary services for the implementation of project feasibility studies,
  • To carry on project design and feasibility studies, to make technical and economic evaluations and to create the most suitable solution for investment, then submit it for approval of the relevant managers and board,
  • To represent the company by participating in meetings and meetings with organizations, to carry out the written correspondence with the relevant government departments,
  • To support the tender processes,
  • To support the creation and follow-up of the monthly, annual, feasibility, pre-construction, construction period and total budget of the project,
  • Checking the contractual compliance of payments, reviews of claims within the scope of all services received,
  • Organizing regular meetings with the project team, consultants, contractor companies within the extent of the project, reporting meeting notes,
  • To support the supervision of geological survey, map and construction works carried on in the field during the feasibility and pre-construction period of the project.
