As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as a Project Engineer, based in Istanbul, Turkey.
Functional Competencies:
- Project management – document approval as per technical specification for naval vessels,
- Marine & Offshore engineering consultancy – perform structural, machinery and stability calculations,
- Handling technical queries (and documentation requirements) related to routine service requests,
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure project stipulated format and timeframe,
- Perform any other operational related duties as required by Managers,
- Travel abroad in case of necessity,
- Perform various on board surveys,
- Assist in other technical support duties as assigned,
- Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required,
- Communication with clients (Class, Flag, Owners, Shipyards and related parties).
Requirements:
- Diploma in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering or Shipmasters diploma,
- Preferably 10 years of experience in project management and/or engineering services for naval vessels,
- Experience on building of military vessels, design office and/or classification society or experience as a marine engineer is preferable,
- Proficient in technical digital tools use,
- Proficient in English (written and spoken),
- Team player and a self-initiator,
- Motivated and exhibits good initiatives,
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload,
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
