QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


How do we describe the perfect fit?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably starting M.Sc. in 2021),
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat & mass transfer,
  • Knowledge and experience in the design and optimization of thermal systems such as vapor compression cooling and heat pump systems,
  • Having experience in programming languages such as Python, C++,
  • Having experience in programming and numerical engineering tools such as Modelica Dymola, Matlab, EES is a plus,
  • Having the desire to do both experimental and numerical R&D work in a continuously learning and developing manner,
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
  • Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies,
  • Outside the box thinking ability,

The position is located in Çayırova.


How will you foster the challenge?

We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer – R&D (Thermodynamics & System Based Modelling) who will join us at Research and Development Directorate.

  • Involving in the projects related to cooling system design, and integrated features’ system design such as the design of ice-making units in refrigerators,
  • Conducting experimental and aligned numerical studies to investigate the thermal system characteristics and effects on the cooling performance of refrigeration systems,
  • Analyzing experimental and numerical results to develop the related system design of the products,
  • Developing alternative cooling system designs, algorithms, and new technology applications to improve the thermal performance of the products, in association with the functional quality and energy efficiency, and having proper cooling under various cooling demands,
  • Preparing test plans for both systems and components,
  • Performing theoretical thermal analysis and engineering calculations on the thermodynamics and heat&mass transfer issues related to the cooling system applications,
  • Improving digital skills to interpret the results of experimental and numerical results
  • Reporting, presenting, and sharing outcomes of the R&D project studies across departments and functions.
