QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
As a Battery Management Systems Engineer in the Electrification Department of FEV Turkey, you will be part of a highly skilled team driven to design and engineer best-in-class battery management systems (BMS) for hybrid and full electric powertrains. You will work in a collaborative team environment. You will be contributing to build advanced solutions for battery management systems for application to hybrid and electric vehicles.
The technical areas of Electrification Department include hybrid and electric powertrain and their sub-systems, e.g. battery system, battery management system, vehicle control system, electric motor and drive system, power electronics, powertrain E/E and fuel-cell systems.
Qualifications
- Completed engineering studies of electrical, electronics, mechatronics and control
- Good knowledge about dynamic modelling, function and algorithm development and implementation in Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge about hybrid and electric vehicle battery systems
- Knowledge about battery state and parameter estimation algorithms (SOH, SOC, SOF, etc.)
- Preferably knowledge about AUTOSAR software structure and ISO26262 functional safety
- Preferably knowledge about dSPACE Tools, INCA Tools and Vector CAN Tools
- Good communication skills
- Very good English skills as well as MS-Office experience
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomous
- Flexible for short trips abroad
Your Tasks
- Identification and management of BMS requirements and specifications
- Function and algorithm development for battery management systems
- Preparation of test specifications and execution of MIL / HIL tests
- Support on battery level testing, vehicle integration and calibration
