QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a R&DSoftware Engineer, who will be a key contributor in our New Technologies team with the responsibility to develop innovative design and develop Battery Management Systems for li-ion battery systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, R&D Software Engineer will develop future BMS technologies with a hardworking team of engineers in a highly reciprocal and multi-functional environment. The ideal individual will be proficient in this field, who has experience developing and commercializing robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom or automotive products. Be a part of a team developing new class of battery systems involving algorithms, architectures and products as we improve the utility of batteries.
Taking an active role in prototype development, prototype assembly and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc /MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field,
- Implement requirements using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow,
- Design hardware and software systems for battery protection, charging and gauging
- Strong coding skills, preferably in C,
- Knowledgeable with communication protocols such: CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS etc,
- Strong understanding of battery modeling and control theory,
- Ability to independently learn new technologies, prototype and design software solutions,
- Experience with SW requirement definition and SW development process,
- Experience in innovative and creative SW product development in battery or automotive electronic domain,
- Ability to tackle problems,
- Follow full life-cycle of product development process,
- Proficiency with lab equipment (solder, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, signal generators, etc),
- Strong EE fundamentals in electronic circuit design/development with microcontroller-based embedded system,
- Familiarity with power semiconductors, microprocessors, DC-DC power supplies, and communication circuits,
- Stay up to date with technology trends and vendor roadmaps,
- Advanced English writing and speaking skills,
- Exceptional organization and communication skills.
